From July 24 – 27, 2023, the District of Eastern North America (DENA) is holding its Chapter & Assembly with the theme “So the Next Generation Will Know.”
The theme reminds us that we gather in the spirit of faith and zeal for the incredible mission entrusted to us. Our purpose is clear: to provide a human and Christian education to the young, especially the poor, according to the ministry the church has entrusted to us.
The goal is to evaluate all aspects of the District and encourage shared decision-making among Brothers and Lasallian partners. This approach aligns with General Chapter’s recent call for co-responsibility, transparency, and solidarity.
By focusing on key thematic areas, the District can develop a strategic plan for the next six years that reflects the directives of the General Chapter and the Third International Mission Assembly. The plan will give direction to District leadership, the Mission Council, and Lasallian ministries to ensure the vitality of the Mission in DENA.
