This year two fellow Lasallian Animators joined together to offer an Advent Evening of Reflection and formation for the Oakland’s faculty.  Matt Scalzo from St. John’s College in Washington was invited to participate in this year’s Advent Faculty reflection in Toronto.   The evenings events centered around chapel reflections, song, a communal dinner and an opportunity for Lasallian formation with this year’s theme: Preparing to accept Christ in our Hearts.  It was wonderful opportunity for staff to spend an evening in community and in association with our invited guest.  The evening served as a spiritual reminder to pause, prepare and pray for the Blessed birth of Jesus.
