Wounded Healer
Saturday February 29
10am-3pm
De La Salle Hall, Lincroft, NJ
Just $25
All are welcome. Fee payable on the day of the event.
The aging process leaves most of us with the impression that our minds, bodies, and spirits diminish with aging. This event will focus on the healing process that often coexists with the diminishment. Taken together, it makes us Wounded Healers.
This event will bring together Lasallians who have experienced the healing process of mind, body and spirit as well as those who wish to learn more about it. Several Lasallians, Brothers Charlie O’Connell, Larry Hartung and Joe Schmidt, will share their experience of healing. There will be plenty of time for sharing your input, questions and experience. Please join us. All Lasallians are welcome.
Food will be provided. Rooms are available for those who wish to come early or stay late.

About DENAconnect
For the second year in a row an interesting array of weekend workshops will be offered this academic year in the District of Eastern North America (DENA). The hope is that they will enrich our lives and, in some way, help each of us share our own insights on a meaningful level. We are calling the series DENAconnect. Details of each regarding time, place, and cost will be announced at least a month before they are offered.
Most will be held on weekends but some will be during the week. Some events may have input from experts but most will rely on the experience of the participants. The venue for most will be at District centers in Narragansett, RI, Ocean City or Lincroft NJ. Others will be held in communities and/or schools.
Examples for the year include:
- Leaders Then and Now – for graduates of Lasallian Leadership Institute (LLI)
- Creativity and the Spiritual Life
- Out of the Box – about Lasallian Reflection 4 – Lasallians: Hearts on Fire
- Healing Touch from Near and Far – a look at ancient art of reiki
- Desert Day of Prayer and Reflection
- The Push of Populism in Our World
- Action on Behalf of the Vulnerable
- Coming Home – for former missionaries
- Centering Prayer
